And Some of Us Soar to the Stars

Category : solution

We already see the emergence of humanity’s “heart” – an inner point within a critical mass of people drawn to work for the sake of discovering our true nature: one organism in relation to its Creator.

We still have a long way to go before we start feeling the life of the seven billion people around us – our true self – and not just the single cell we were born into. The more we work on this ongoing self-transformation to enhance our altruistic desires over our egoistic ones, the faster we will come to realize the life of the whole body, as expressed in the timeless words: “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” This goal depends on all of us, together, and the sooner we start changing the better.

Something About Love

Category : fundamentals

All the desires of the creatures are in fact the only one – the desire for the light. The Creator rules us while ruling our desires. Realizing a lack of something, the Creator forces us to act and to strive for things lacking in our life. It’s said that “love and hunger rule the world”. It means that all the human actions are forced (determined). If the Creator would not give the mother enjoyment of suckling, the babies would starve. Nobody should move from his place, if not to seek for better conditions. The evolution, the progress, the spiritual search all of this reflects our inclination to find satisfaction of our desires.

Enemies Becoming Friends When Bitterness Ends

Category : corporeality and spirituality

If the person in our world were awarded for good, altruistic deeds and punished for bad, egoistical ones, the good would be perceived as sweet and the evil as bitter, and the entire analysis would amount to the sensation of “sweet and bitter”. Everyone would avoid evil, egoistical actions and would only aspire to perform good, altruistic deeds, search for the Creator, feeling sweetness they feel today from egoistical pleasure; thus the achievement of perfection by all would be guaranteed.

All of our souls are parts of one, same soul, called “Adam”. This soul is the only one that was created by the Creator. According to His plan – the program of Creation – this soul has to distance itself from the Creator to such an extent as to sense all the bitterness, humiliation, vanity, imperfection and instability of this state. This is done in order to make it want to resemble the Creator, to return and to rise to Him.

Not as Seen on TV

Is there some plan for evolution that does not lead us towards failure and to a bitter sensation? Is there any gain from all of these disasters and sufferings?

In one of our lives, we must attain the completion of our souls. If we do not achieve this, through the Upper Light, our torments will gradually increase until they finally make us realize the reason for our pain. It is our souls’ need to reclaim the Light that filled it before it came down to our world. The principal law of that system is “altruism.” It acts whether we are aware of it or not, and we must follow it whether we like it or not. Disobeying that law produces disasters and tragedies, both individual and collective.

Where Is My Mind?

(0)

Category : fundamentals

Every person is obliged to achieve the purpose of his creation (i.e., merging with the Creator) in one of his incarnations in this world. But why should similarity to the Creator lead to merging with Him? We can understand it through the following example: every action stems from the mind of the person who acts. The joiner’s mind and craftsmanship is present in the table he makes, because he uses his mind in his work. Therefore, by looking at the table one attains the craftsman’s mind, for during his work his action was one with the mind.

When the person contemplates the Creator’s action, he comprehends His mind. The one who attains the actions, with which the Creator created the world and its order, merges with the Creator’s mind. This means he merges with the Creator. Hence, it is said that man reveals the Creator’s names – His manifestations in creation, and thus merges with Him.

Time is a Valuable Thing

Category : fundamentals

Humans, unlike all other creatures, need many years to evolve. When a baby is born, it hardly wants anything. But as it grows, its will to receive intensifies and evolves tremendously. When a new desire surfaces, it produces new needs, which the human being feels compelled to satisfy. To satisfy the new needs successfully, the brain evolves, as we begin to contemplate ways to satisfy the new desire. It follows that the brain’s intellectual and conceptual evolution is a consequence of the intensification of our desire to enjoy.

We can observe how this principle works by examining how we bring up our children. To help them grow, we create challenging games for them, and their desire to succeed in the game makes them contemplate new ways of coping, which facilitates their progress. From time to time we make the game more difficult to help them evolve and continue their progress. Hence, unless one feels that something is missing, one will never be able to evolve. It is only when we want something that we begin to activate our intellects and ponder how we can obtain our desires.
