We do not see the consequences of our steps because they also go to the upper world. We are like the blind kittens, in the middle of a chain who have no idea where the beginning and end are. Because of this, we cannot learn from our own actions without seeing their results. And we usually act completely senselessly from the perspective of the perfection of eternal life…
In order to lead a man out of this condition, there is very clear scientific methodology, with an extensive mathematical and logical set of instruments. It is called Kabbalah and with its help, a man can start feeling the upper world, where all events begin that later on descend upon us, and the results of our actions go back there as well. A comprehension of this upper world is the very salvation of man. The only thing we do not have is the ability to see the entire universe in its true form.
Now I sense myself and the world around me, which is full of people. There will come a time when beside this world I will also sense and see other worlds.
Let’s say that some additional sense will open up for me. Later I will begin to improve my perception, and if I improve it, I start to see all individual souls, all people that seem to exist around me. I feel them as existing inside of me, as being part of me, part of my desire. And those worlds that I see as external to me, acting outside of me, I begin to see as part of my structure, and I actually control them. That is how it all opens up into a world of spiritual vision.
As for the souls all the generation from first to last can be considered as one generation. Its life goes on from the time of mankind’s birth a few millenniums ago. It will go on until mankind’s death and it doesn’t matter how many different forms each soul will take in different bodies. Death doesn’t affect the soul because it is made of a “higher matter”. Just in the same way as cutting our hair or nails doesn’t effect our body and its life.
Having created and given to us his worlds, the Creator has given us a task; we should strive to meet and converge with him. This should be done through spiritual growth, bonding and uplifting ourselves. But a big question arises: should mankind obey the Creator’s will. The Kabbalah shows the complete picture of the ways in which we are controlled, and the result is surprising. It turns out that whether it is out of free will or through suffering we eventually reach the same conclusion. It can happen in this life or the next one, it can happen because of physical, social or economic forces affecting us. Sooner or later each one of us and eventually mankind as a whole will have to accept the idea: The goal and purpose of the Creation should be our goal and purpose in life.
The advancement of science together with the wisdom of Kabbalah is not about spaceships or anything like that. It is not about bodies or chunks of mass, not about any solid, liquid, gaseous or plasma matter nor anything that we feel with our five senses. It is about a completely different dimension which can not be grasped with the five senses. We are not discussing forces that are clothed in matter; we are discussing forces that are not clothed in matter, called “spirituality”. Force is also matter, as Baal HaSulam writes in “The Essence of the Wisdom of Kabbalah”, but it is matter that is not perceived in our five senses and so we need to develop an additional sense which is called “soul”. In addition to the five senses we need to develop another sense with which we will be able to communicate with what is outside of us. Out of the “point in the heart” we should develop ten original Sefirot with which we will connect with the general upper force that activates and directs the entire reality. As we become equal to this force we begin to direct reality.
