Don’t Know Who to Trust

I have nothing but feeling, nothing in addition to what I understand. On the contrary, I should not believe anyone; I should not follow anyone with my eyes closed. Do not believe anyone! This is my life! I will believe assisted by something I received from the Creator.

Baal HaSulam writes that a person has to find a group, Teacher, and books. We have the books. Now, I need a Teacher who would teach me, and the group which is lead by him. Each person in the group has to understand that it is necessary to free oneself from egoism and reach mutual love, as it is said “love thy neighbor as thyself – this is the great rule of Torah”. By doing so, we will create Kli, in which Torah, the Upper light, will be revealed. This is why I have to connect to the group where everyone is ready for this.

Freedom ain’t getting no closer

There are only two ways for human beings to perceive the providence of the Creator over the world. They perceive the Creator, and in this case life seems wonderful to them, or they think that the Creator’s providence over the world does not exist, and then they assume that the world is ruled by the forces of nature. Though a particular person may realize that the latter scenario is unlikely, it is the person’s emotions, rather than the reason, that determine his attitude toward the world. Hence, observing the disparity between his emotions and his reason, the person starts considering himself a sinner.

But if a person feels himself to be evil to such an extent, that he necessarily cries out to the Creator to save him, asking the Creator to reveal Himself so as to give him the power to break out from the prison of his egoism into the spiritual world, then the Creator helps him instantly.

This ain’t a Song for the Broken-Hearted

A person may be born with attributes that are very ‘harmful’ for positive spiritual development, such as: physical, mental, psychic or spiritual weakness. Just like the seed, he will be subject to the affects of such positive external factors, that will change his situation radically, and bring astonishing results, without any apparent connection to the natural attributes.

Perhaps that person did not have a chance for spiritual development, judging by his natural attributes, but ultimately, he might attain tremendous spiritual development, under the influence of society, and sometimes it is hard to believe the changes that he went through. It is all because he is in the right place at the right time, in a supportive and helpful society.

Teacher, Leave those Kids Alone

Education is humanity’s central problem. If we could provide a correct form of education and grounding to at least one generation, we could then be certain that all future generations would be brought up suitably and live optimally. This is because each generation that receives the correct method of education can and will be capable of adequately raising the next generation.

Alternatively, the failure to raise such a generation in even one society, and observing each succeeding generation as inferior compared to the previous, bears witness to the fact that humanity has never possessed the correct method of education.

At the End of the World Or the Last Thing I See…

Category : crisis

Sometimes, the surrounding world looks so gloomy that we see the situation as if it was the end of the world and there is no way out. But later we realize that this is not the case. These events are very precise and correct exercises given to us from above. We are only able to comprehend this later. Only after the events can we acknowledge how necessary they were at the phase we were in preceding the correction.

For this reason, we must endure our path, continuously retain the goal of our progress, and not lose our heads. If a person is put through a situation in which he sees that he is about to jump into a fire, yet is not able to do anything about it, this occurs to show a person that he has no rule over anything.

Things Just Get So Crazy Living Life Gets Hard to Do

One must show one’s love to the friends because showing it evokes their hearts to love. Thus, each receives strength to act in love of friends, as the force of love of each friend is integrated in one’s friend, so each person will have the strength of the whole society.

If they do not show love for one another, the strength to love in each of them is deficient since it becomes very hard to justify one’s friend. Every person thinks that he is the righteous one, that he is the only one engaged in love of friends, because he still can’t feel his friends’ hearts. And this gives him only small powers to work in love of man. Hence, each must manifest his love to all the others, and thus everyone will have the strength to love.
