Cause I Don’t Shine if You Don’t Shine

The connection between souls can only exist to the degree of equality with Divinity. That is where they are connected. We are at the end of correction even now, but we need to reveal this level, and that is where we are connected. We cannot connect at the level of this world, it is impossible.

So just bestowing to each other, without an intention to become like the Creator, causes the opposite of what we want, it brings disasters. Baal HaSulam writes that the supposedly good things are those that caused Nazism and Stalin. The ideas are essentially good, it is about the connection of people, unity of everyone, but eventually they cause destruction because they do not connect us to the goal.

And if You Think You’re Gonna be Spared You’re Wrong

Can a person really say when he deserves a reward and when – a punishment? For instance, a piece of a balcony falls down, killing a man passing by; a natural disaster occurs, etc. Is there anyone we should blame or punish? Or, let’s say, a child breaks something. We can punish or even beat him, but we will discipline a child according to our animal perception of reward and punishment, that is, will transfer our perception and attitude to him. That’s how it was in Russia. If one did not acknowledge the communists they could even kill him. They had established their law and their justice, their understanding of good and bad. But indeed, there must be a direct objective system of reward and punishment, not for the benefit of this system’s authors, but for the benefit of its observers.

It is possible that a person will possess fantastic inherent intellectual and analysis abilities, but if he gets everything in life without any effort, his mind will not develop, but regress. That is why it is not worth it to be so envious of rich people who live completely like beasts, because that society is on a spiritual decline. The history of  people constantly proves the efficiency of the constant search of a way to exist under impossible conditions.

You’re Still a Soldier in Your Mind

Nothing is ever resolved by war itself. Take a look at all of humanity’s history. The function of war is to compel people to contemplate the true nature of what is happening. This, however, does not mean that war is unnecessary. It is necessary to fight. If we have been debased to such a level where our egoism’s opposition with other egoistic forces generates a war, then we are obligated to do everything we can to counteract the threat to our physical existence. However, at the same time, we have to understand that the situation can be corrected and changed only on a higher level, on the level of the forces that have elicited the emergence of the war.

Nothing to Fear, Nothing to Hide

A person examines himself against his past. He realizes that in all of his previous reincarnations the Creator has never inflicted harm upon him, even though he sees all the horrible events having taken place in all of his previous reincarnations. Love reveals itself beyond these horrible sensations experienced in the past – love for what has happened in the past is happening now, and will happen in the future. Love for the future means that a person carries on, advances, and reaches his personal Final Correction.

Come With Me If You Want to Live

Throughout the history of mankind, providence has compelled man to study the world around him. Man must perceive the world around him simply in order to exist. Man must discover the worlds that surround him in order to improve his situation, to sustain the increasing population, to feed and clothe it. Man must evolve, develop science in order to know how to take advantage of nature for his own benefit. Without science, humanity would have been unable to survive and would remain at the level of no more than a primitive clan to this day. Man must attain such a state where he is master of his own fate, and nature will not allow him to remain in his beastly degree. Nature will force him to actively participate in the leadership of the world.
