I Could Be Mean I Could Be Angry You Know I Could Be Just Like You

A ten-year-old child, who is angry with his parents because they do not want to buy him a motorbike, cannot assess his situation correctly. But what can he feel besides insulted? When he grows older he will be able to assess the event correctly. The most important thing is to try to move from accusing the Creator in favor of a higher state.

It has been said that the Creator created the world in order to delight His creatures. But that does not mean that He wants to delight us because we suffered before. The Creator did it without any considerations and regardless of the amount of torment we had suffered. Staying immersed in pain never brought anyone to happiness. Only self-correction brings one to the good. Humanity can go on suffering for thousands of years, but this will never bring any kind of correction; it will only increase man’s desire for correction.

Now We See Everything That’s Going Wrong

Category : crisis, solution

Today, many people believe that humanity’s progress is approaching a dead end. Our past hopes for a better, happier life through scientific and social progress have been overshadowed by a growing pessimism over what seems to be an impasse. We see that more and more people in the world are unable to find fulfillment. Once, we thought of ourselves as making great leaps forward, believing we were making substantial progress, but now we appear to be facing some kind of a wall. Humanity seems to be plunging into depression, suicide and drugs abound, and people are trying to disengage themselves from the world, and suppress their feelings. Terrorism and a rapid upsurge in natural disasters are symptoms of a global crisis, and all these states are leading humanity to one fundamental question: “What is the meaning of life?”

Many people have already begun searching for the answer to this question. This becomes evident if we consider the vast increase in spiritual seekers over the last twenty years. It is written in The Book of Zohar, that at the end of the twentieth century humanity will start asking about the meaning of life, and that the answer to this question, hidden in the ancient science of Kabbalah, can only be revealed in our time, precisely because of these challenging circumstances.

60 Revolutions per Minute

Category : solution

We can speed up our development by correcting ourselves with the Upper light (the path of Kabbalah), if we aim at correcting ourselves through the path of Kabbalah instead of the path of suffering. The difference between these two paths is that Kabbalah greatly accelerates our spiritual development.

The more one aspires upwards, the clearer he sees how low he exists and descends even lower, the quicker he “rots”, like a seed, in his own eyes and, after being born, starts to “sprout”. At the beginning, we do not realize that our urge towards the spiritual comes from above – but how else could this urge emerge in egoism! And so we desire the spiritual only because we don’t know what it is; for spirituality is death, a complete antipode to egoism, our current nature.

As we are unable to put our hand into fire, so we are unable to make ourselves receive altruistic properties – they are so adverse to us. But egoism itself pushes us towards the spiritual (also because it feels pleasure only from the Light).

You Know I’m No Good

Category : solution

Nature only needs to correct man. There are no evil forces, no good forces. There is only one force, which leads us towards complete correction, shows us the suffering, and motivates us with its opposition. In this way, all of the suffering is caused by the difference in man’s attributes and those of the Creator. And there is no other solution. If one changes his attributes to match those of the Creator, starts nearing them, he will start experiencing states called the spiritual worlds, the perception of the Creator, and to that extent he will perceive good and pleasure. This is why there are no other forces but the forces of good, and all the forces of evil are our forces. We only need to correct our hearts.
